The Tiger in the Jungle: Identifying Eating Disorders is a newsletter on eating disorders for Southwest Michigan area educators. Our focus is on aspects of anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and other eating disorders for teachers, counselors, coaches, and school administrators.. In the newsletter we discuss signs of a developing eating disorder, the effects of eating disorders on students' health, sources of information on the eating disorders, and local ED-related resources.
We distribute The Tiger in the Jungle by E-mail to area educators. We also post current and back issues of the newsletter here. Each new issue appears toward the end of the current month. The January, 2012 newsletter has been replaced by flyers for SMEDA's February, 2012 outreach activities .
